Photographer and Painting Instructor

With over 15 years of experience as a photographer, artist, and educator for the Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County school district.  Jerrica Scott is Winston-Salem/ Triad based Painting instructor and photographer specializing in Portraiture  and Weddings.  She also serves Greensboro, Lexington, High Point, Kernersville, Charlotte, and Raleigh areas,  and is always available for travel.

Her interest in photography started her senior year of college when she decided to take a full-time summer job at a local photography studio. She was hooked! She loved the creative freedom of "freezing" beautiful images with her camera. After finishing her degree in education, she began to attend every photography workshop that she could. 15 years later, she is still in love with her camera and her ability to "freeze" the amazing  moments that she captures in time hence the name of her business "Frozen Imagery."

She is also a self-taught art painter who is passionate about art. She enjoys teaching diverse groups of students and has excellent people skills. He background in teaching  as afforded her the ability and  patience is needed to guide a class through fun and step-by-step sessions of painting. 

 

Her work is defined by her unique ability to freeze natural moments as well as the use of natural light. She's photographed dozens of weddings and documented other important steps in a family's life... pregnancies, first birthdays, Quinceaneras, Sweet Sixteens, graduations, marriage proposals and reunions. Jerrica has the highest standards for herself and her work. Her portfolio confirms that portraits can be so much more than a record of what someone looks like.
